Sensei John delivers masterclass

A special training session was held this week at Sochin Karate Club when Sensei John Parnell, 7th Dan delivered a masterclass for members.

The all-grades course included a session on adapted basics using cat stance, intermediate level kihon, as well as kata. Sensei Parnell is one of a number of top level Karateka who visit the club to deliver training sessions as visiting instructors.

Sochin Karate Club is a not-for-profit club which usually delivers training on Monday and Thursday evenings. The club has received a grant from Active Kent & Medway enabling it to offer subsidized places to women to encourage take up of the sport.
